Hi, my name is Jacky Tan Cheen Yeong but you can just call me Jacky. I’m currently residing in Melaka, Malaysia where I am a full time professional financial advisor for my clients. As for my education background, I would like to start off by saying that I don’t think that I learnt much in school as compared to when I’m working right now and contributing to society as a whole. My academic skills didn’t help me get that far into my career but the knowledge that I had gained while going through it has, skills like product acquisition, negotiation tactics, productive habits and a strong belief that the best is yet to come.
As for my more miscellaneous activities, I usually spend my time fishing, playing badminton or snorkelling, yes I prefer outdoor activities. Throughout my years serving this company and my clients, I have come across many challenges that I had never faced before but in order to achieve my dream, I knew I had to pull through. My life goal is to grow with my family and company professionally by gaining my knowledge along the way to be able to provide better service for my clientele. I guess you can say that the virtues I value the most are integrity, honor, responsibility and optimism.
After joining this company, I found out that I was subconsciously picking up all the positive habits that were making an impact in my work life balance. With those habits, I don’t feel obsolete and I constantly am aware of what’s going on with the world and within the company. That is also what I am able to bring to the table as well, reliability, consistency and efficiency. With these traits, I hope that I’m able to help more and more people.
